Chrismas is the biggest festival of the year in most of Britain. Celebrations start properly on 24 December, Chrismas Eve, although there have been several weeks of preparation before hand. The chrismas trees and all the presnts, food, drinks and decorations have been bought. Chrismas cards have already been sent to friends and relations. About a week before Chrismas, people usually put up their decorations and decorate the Chrismas tree with lights, various coloured decorations and an angle on the top. Family presents are usually put under the tree.
